Welcome to Crestview Elementary — Home of the Cougars!

Crestview Elementary proudly serves the diverse communities of Merriam, Overland Park, and Mission. We are honored to partner with families to develop students as confident leaders - active thinkers, learners, and achievers - while supporting their academic, social, and emotional growth.

Crestview is a truly special place. For generations, families have called Crestview home, with grandparents, parents, and children all sharing the Cougar experience. This deep connection creates a strong sense of pride, belonging, and responsibility for one another that is felt throughout our school community.

As principal, I am proud to serve alongside an exceptional staff and a supportive community that believes in the potential of every child. Through our Leader in Me approach, we empower students to take ownership of their learning, build strong character, and develop the leadership skills they need to be successful in school and beyond.

We believe in academic excellence for ALL students and provide a rigorous curriculum with clear learning expectations. Just as importantly, we strive to create a safe, welcoming environment where students feel valued, respected, and inspired to love learning every day.

Together with our families, PTA, and community partners, we work to ensure every Crestview student grows as a positive representative of themselves, their families, their school, and their community.
